Union Pledge Day

Union Pledge Day recalls the historic meeting on 18 July 1971 at which the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow Rulers signed the declaration of the Union and the UAE Constitution, and announced the country's name. It aims to promote the national values and principles laid down by the Founding Fathers.
